The Criterion
Judged, not advertised.
Every candidate passes through the same review, published for all to read. This page is the whole machine: two gates, an annual renewal, and the principles that keep money away from judgment.
Two Gates In. One Review Every Year After.
The First Review
Licensing and insurance verified. References validated. Years of practice, portfolio depth, and responsiveness measured against written criteria. Pass or fail, without exception, and without regard to who is asking.
The Curation Review
Portfolio review by a rotating panel of peers and Institute Administration, with documented rubrics and conflict-of-interest recusal. The Institute Administration sees the work before the name.
The Renewal
Standing is re-earned annually against the same published criteria. It can be raised, held, or revoked, and revocation is real. The seal keeps its meaning because it can be taken away.
How Judgment Stays Clean
Payment has no seat in the review
Admission is by curation alone. Payment cannot purchase judgment, placement, or introductions.
Every decline includes a path
Each candidacy receives a written outcome. A decline names what would strengthen a future application, with a re-application window and access to The Corvantas Institute education.
The standard is published
The criteria are public, so any professional can measure a practice against them before applying, and every family can read exactly what the seal certifies.
The seal certifies standards, not miracles
Membership certifies that a practice met and keeps meeting the published standard. Contracts remain between Client and Member, as they should.
